WHAT IF NOBODY GOT A TICKET?

If you’re in a car wreck and nobody was issued a ticket, you may be thinking you can’t seek compensation from the other driver. Or you may have talked to the other driver’s insurance company who may have told you that since their driver did not get a ticket, it is not their responsibility to pay for your damages.

BUT THAT MAY NOT BE THE CASE.

Officers do not always issue tickets following a car crash, especially if they did not witness the crash. However, that does not mean that nobody is at fault.

Fault is usually determined by the physical evidence such as the damage to the vehicles, witness statements, and the officer’s investigation.

It helps to have an attorney make these arguments for you because, honestly, insurance companies just do not take you seriously if you don’t have an attorney representing you.

Typically people get frustrated dealing with the insurance company and they walk away, which the insurance company loves. But that doesn’t mean they weren’t entitled to compensation.

If you’ve been in a wreck and the insurance company is putting you off or saying they don’t have to pay for your damages, you need to speak to a lawyer as soon as possible.
